Scoping the job
How a Job Gets Scoped and Priced
Pricing starts with looking at the door. We inspect the whole assembly, because the part that failed is not always the part that needs attention, then explain what is wrong and lay out the choices: a straight repair, a repair with an upgrade, or replacement.
The cost depends on the parts the door needs, how much labor they take and how big or unusual the door is. Oversized shop doors, heavy insulated doors and high ceilings all change the work. You see the scope and the figure before anything is started, and anything new that turns up is discussed first.
